Steelhead fishing has been very strong in the upper river. Upper sunrise, sailor bar, and the hatchery have been the hottest spots.. Roe has been king, with jigs, and nightcrawlers producing good action as well. The hatchery has reported great returns this year so far.

trout fishing remains strong for trollers on small wobble spoons and dodgers. Bass fishing has picked up a bit, the hard part is finding a school of bass and staying on it. The schools seem to scatter after a few fish have been caught from them. Finesse is key.
