Lake is capped 10-12 inches thick . Macs are around 20 feet down at Dry Creek being caught on white tubes tipped with sucker meat , and perch are at 40 feet being caught on small jigs tipped with mealworms . Browns and rainbows being caught on jigs or small spoons tipped with waxworms .

Patterns that will produce well are Black zebra midges , JuJu midge , Pheasant tails , Parachute Adams , WD-40s , Egg patterns , Tiny winter blacks ,wooly buggers as well as small nymphs and micro midges .

Ice is 6-10 inches thick at the dam , and lake is capped . 4-5 inches of snow . Water levels are 67 feet below full and fish are concentrated so fishing is good . Reports of Perch , Pike , Cats , and Crappie being caught . No reports on any trout being caught .

Water temp is 45degrees� ! The best fishing for smallmouth bass on single and double tail grubs , wacky rigged senkos and top water baits such as Whopper Ploppers are becoming a favorite ! Stripers being caught best from first light to 8:00 am with anchovies ,Shad raps , silver spoons , and trolling lures working for them . Catching walleye on the bottom .
