Through the early spring season, road conditions tend to be very poor. Fishing however tends to pick up, pike and whitefish can still be found along the western drainages. Grayling should be moving from their spawning grounds to deep pools to feed.

As the Grayling spawn dies down they will be moving into their feeding grounds look for deep pools close to quicker water. Flys, spoons and spinners are effective here.
