- Thu, Oct 10, 2024Flow of the Thompson has begun to decrease as we enter the fall. this drop in water levels has made terrestrials, small floating ants, and grasshoppers the hot flies currently. Add a dropper on the end to really increase your chances of a catch.
- Thu, Oct 10, 2024Tailwater section of the blue river through Silverthorne fishes fairly consistently year round. Water temps are in the lower 40's so there are not a lot of variety in hatches. small midge larva, mysis shrimp are staples of trout in this section of river.
