Brown's lake has been fishing well. fly fisherman have been having success using chrominoid patterns, or slowly stripping balanced leaches. Spin fisherman have been having success using spoons, spinners or trolling cowbells.

trout fishing has been good from mid reservoir to the north end. orange and chartreuse powerbait has been working well. Brown, yellow and green, black marabou jigs have been putting some fish into the net as well. Some boats are getting out and launching

The Clark Fork is starting to rise and get muddy. currently the upper stretch of the Clark Fork is still fishable. San Juan worms, jig Prince nymphs and rubber legs are all producing.

Delta has been very muddy. River water is on the rise. East bay is heating up. Reports of good smallmouth action, water temps have been starting to hit the 50s.

Fort Peck is starting to heat up! Walleye are being picked up from around 25 FOW towards the shores pitching jigs. Pike fishing has also been doing well with a smelt under a bobber or throwing spoons.

The Upper Madison has provided anglers with some great fishing this past week. The streamer fishing has picked up noticeably and the nymphing remains consistent. Black sculpin patterns have seemed to be the streamer of choice for most anglers.Dry fly fish

Flows are around 2800 CFS. Midges have been hatching consistently, and the dry-fly game has been good, but the nymph action is fantastic at the moment. Perdigons, sowbugs, and scuds will all be quite effective. for dries on cloudier days try a BWO pattern
