FISHING REPORT FOR SPOKANE

    Amber Lake is seeing some good action with rainbow trout. Fly fishing with streamers and nymphs has been particularly productive. The surface action is picking up in the early morning and late evening, so consider using dry flies during those times.

    Badger Lake is still producing nice catches of trout. Trolling with spinners or using fly rods with streamers has been effective. The cooler weather has them feeding more actively.

    The Clearwater River is a hotspot for steelhead right now. Drifting eggs or using spinners has been effective. Look for pockets of slower water near the faster currents, where steelhead tend to hold. Fish are responding well to bright colors as the water
