Legal Heat, the nation's largest concealed firearm permit training company, will be offering a fun and informative concealed firearms class, free for ladies only. The class will satisfy all of the training prerequisites to obtain the state's concealed carry permits, and in some cases other states' permits. This power combination of permits will allow you to carry in up to 37 different states. (Some states may require a shooting component separate from this class, see Legal Heat's website for state-specific info.) For the free pricing, participants must preregister, no walk-ins will be allowed to attend this class. These classes fill up fast, but future classes are added frequently to meet the high demand.

Fishing has been slow but received a few reports of anglers catching whitefish on glow in the dark lures tipped with a maggot. Bass fishing has also been slow this is most likely due to weather change.

Still not a lot of reports coming from this stretch of water. Deeper water will produce the best results. Bwos, midges, and fall caddis are the most productive choices right now midday when its warmer.

Steelhead is closed at the moment but the salmon season seems to be decent. Getting a lot of reports of coho and Chinook, the most successful method seems to be drifting a float with shrimp.

Walleye and trout are occasionally being caught on a variety of rapala lures and spinners deeper. Not getting any reports on pike at the moment. Have been getting reports of decent smallies being caught on drop shot and ned rigs.

Not getting many reports from this lake, this might be due to the colder weather and anglers not getting out. Try glo-hooks tipped with night crawlers and maggots at night for the kokanee and a variety of plastics around structure for bass.

Have received a few reports of an occasional tiger muskie on a brighter color such as neon orange and chartreuse. The lily pads by the boat launch hold a variety of fish.

Fishing has stayed pretty steady on this lake and anglers are filling stringers. They are catching rainbows more towards the surface with apexes and flatfish and going down deep for the macks.

Walleye seem to be the fish to fish for at the moment, look for flats and sand bars to run a bottom walker with a worm harness, however they can be stacked around rocks too. Trout and kokanee fishing seem to be hit and miss right now.

Open since 2015, Sportsman’s Warehouse in Spokane, WA is near the Spokane River, Mt. Spokane, and surrounded by 76(!) lakes. National gunsmithing services are now available! If you like hunting, we’re here to get you all set up with everything you need. Popular pursuits include elk, deer, turkey, grouse, cougar, bear, waterfowl, and upland game birds.
